These are some facts about North Dakota. The state flower is the wild Prairie rose. The state bird is the Western Meadowlark. The state’s nickname is the Peace Garden State. The state tree is the American Elm. These are only a few of the state symbols for the state of ND.

These are some facts about Bismarck. Bismarck Became a city in Did you know that Bismarck was not it’s original name? It was Edwinton. It’s population is 59,503. The city was named after Otto Von Bismarck. Now you learned some facts about Bismarck.

Now you are going to learn about the weather and climate in ND. In the summer it gets hot and it is dry. In the winter the winds whip through North Dakota.
