 Contains errors.  Doesn’t summarize your skills and experience.  Bad resumes aren’t even looked at they are chucked in the trash.

 Contains no errors.  States a brief summary of your skills and experience.  Usually are looked at once and then filed away.

SStands out! CCalls the reader to t ake action! GGets you hired and moving up the corporate ladder.

 Keep it short- one page if possible.  Be neat.  Be honest about your skills and experience.  Be concise and use action words and phrases.  Proof-read and have someone else check over it.

 States what you have to offer the company  Sates your qualifications and expertise.  States your relevant experience and length of time you did it.  States what are your quantifiable results.  States how your worked impacted your employer’s bottom line
