Operational sort for treatment with waste from medical equipment Faculty hospital in Prague

Medical equipments offer two groups of waste: specific waste from medical equipments (medical staff handle with this waste) communal waste and such like this waste (cleaning company handle with this waste) Specific waste from medical equipments sort by law n. 185/2001 Sb., about waste, notice n. 376/2001 Sb., to the following groups and kinds of waste.

Group of specific waste from medical equipments divide in next sort:

Disposal with waste in medical equipments produce specific health adventure, because it can contain infective and toxic subject. That is why each case is necessary to mark:sort of waste, the date and place of origin. The system of colored sacks (blue, green and red) is by law adequate, only sharp subjects are saved into plastic bottles then are put into red sacs.

Use of coloured sacks:

Every waste of sevral workplaces (departments) is abolished every day into iron-plate penth-houses at several pavilons, or on put up agreed places. Staff of cleaning companies abolish blue sacks, sanetaries abolish green and red sacs. Special companies take away and clear waste from area of the hospital.
