AMERICAN HERITAGE ACTIVITIES According to many historians who was Uncle Sam? Discover where and when Uncle Sam was born. What other symbols represent the United States? Can you find pictures of them on the web? Create a timeline chronicling the events that led to the writing of the Declaration of Independence. How many constitutional amendments are there?

AMERICAN HERITAGE ACTIVITIES Find quotes of famous authors and/or poets about the American flag. Take a virtual tour of Betsy Ross’ home and describe what you see. Give a brief biography of Betsy Ross. Discover how to cut out a perfect five-point star and then do so. Tell me five facts about the Northwest Ordinance.

Discover in which congressional district you live. Discover who is your congressional representative. Write five brief biographies of First Ladies. WORLD INTERACTIONS ACTIVITIES Find weather maps of the western hemisphere. Note any weather patterns found. What natural resources are found in the western hemisphere?
