Data Collection Planning Session Objectives 1.Describe the data collection planning process. 2.Describe how HIPAA affects your data collection efforts.

Provides protection for the privacy of certain individually identifiable health data (PHI). Regulates how certain entities (Covered Entities) use and disclose PHI.
