Have you ever wondered about the name Mercury. What is Mercury Have you ever wondered about the name Mercury? What is Mercury? Is it like the moon? Well I will tell you everything you need to know! Mercury is the first planet in our solar system. The planet Mercury is only 3,031 miles wide, wow! Mercury is the smallest of the planets. Only the dwarf planets are smaller. It’s pretty small. Did you know that? The planet Mercury also has no atmosphere.

Would you like to know more Would you like to know more? Well then did you know Mercury is 35,983,095 miles away from the sun? Also, it’s the closest planet to the sun! It takes Mercury 58.65 days to rotate, and 88 days to revolve on its axis.
