Playground Project

 Sloping ground provides drainage problems  All slides need replaced (cracked)  Several gaping holes in play structure  Steps in need of repair  Hazardous wood chips  Not ADA compliant Any repairs to the current structure would be a band- aid fix. The PTO is looking forward to future-proof the playground to replace current structure that will last for many years to come.

 Topographic survey  Prepare preliminary playground layout with sidewalks, retaining walls and ramps  Meet with committee to address concerns  Finalize plans with complete design and details for site grading, site drainage, sidewalks, ramps and large block retaining walls. $4,200

 Removal of current playground structure (PTO will recycle steel)  Leveling ground/correcting drainage issues  Concrete installation $180,000* *Estimation based on assumption of work

 Large play structure  Swings  Pour-in tire matting surface $363,763

$547,963 * *Estimation based on assumption of work

 Level ground with appropriate drainage  handicap accessible play structure with slides and play panels  Swing replacement with sturdy undermats (inserted under the pour-n-place surface) to prevent tire mat degradation  Exercise equipment  Basketball (nonofficial) equipment
