Service continuity What is the issue? Whether ProSe/EPS would provide IP address preservation and what is the solution to provide service continuity when the UE moves from “network coverage” (e.g. LTE-Uu) to ProSe UE-NW Relay coverage and vice versa What are the proposed principles? A. IP address preservation provided at ProSe/EPS layer As proposed in S (Qualcomm, Huawei, Ericsson, USDOC)  HandledS B. IP address preservation is NOT provided at ProSe/EPS layer, service continuity is provided by “application/service layer” As proposed in S (Intel, ALU, BlackBerry)  HandledS What are the proposed alternative solutions based on these principles?
