Civil War era newspapers Will add NDNP content Libraries in CT may add their digitized newspapers All will go into the Connecticut Digital Archive being developed by UConn for long-term preservation of the newspapers and other digital objects.

Partnership between the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Library of Congress, and the states Searchable database of U.S. historic newspapers Began in 2005

New guidelines are out January 15, 2015 deadline to apply 2-year grant with subsequent grants possible 100,000 pages Foreign language newspapers included
