INSIGHT of Romanian health system lack of infrastructure needs ranging from lack of medication for hospitalized patients to beds and modern electronic medical equipment. small salary income of medical staff lack of medical information

Access to health care system Is hindered by: economic hardships low income of the population disregard of the patient by medical staff negligence/ignorance of the middle medical staff patient’s lack of information regarding: cancer diseases own rights

Status vis-a-vis EU Romania’s legal health framework is : not fully compliant with EU resolutions on health When compliant, procedures and methodology too convoluted and hard to implement not harmonized to other EU member states
