A new concept in hearing… Audiology Now!: 18 th – 21 st April, Auriplex recognises that hearing composes of 2 parts; Sensory Element (Ear) which picks up the sound. Processing Power (Brain) that zooms into the desired sound. As the sensory element degrades the person’s processing power begins to become ‘lazy’. For this reason it is essential for a hearing solution to have a 2 part capability also. A new concept in hearing…

Audiology Now!: 18 th – 21 st April, The market is well-understood, but not saturated due to unsolved difficulties by the current product offerings. The main issues are; Market Problems and Opportunities Poor Performance in noisy environments (low signal-to-noise ratio). Connectivity to other audio devices (mobile phones, etc). Stigma- No one looks forward to receiving their first hearing aid. Long & expensive ownership process. Takes a long period of time to gain measurable benefits. Majority are dissatisfied with their present hearing solution.
