Who Will Implement and when? All Public Elementary and Secondary Schools All grade and Year level. All curriculum ( RBEC and EBEC of K to 12) Implementation Starts on EoSY for SF-5 and SF-6 and SY for SF -1,2,3,4 and 7 No SF 5 and 6 for Kinder. For Privates schools, it is under the discretion of SDS No LRN ? Coordinate with school ICT coordinator or LIS In-charge

For Grade Satisfies all the requirements in all subjects. Write the general Average with descriptive letter. Action Taken: PROMOTED For Grades 3 to 6 – The norms for promotion and retention will remain (DO No. 33, s, 2004). Write the General Average only. No Descriptive rating Letter. No Need to accomplish incomplete subject/s sub-column. For 3 rd and 4 th Year – The norms for promotion and retention remain ( DO No. 33, s. 2004). Write the general average but without the descriptive letter. Indicate in incomplete subject/s ( 1st sub-column) completed subject/s during summer (if any) prior to BoSY. Use the 2 nd sub- column for incomplete subjects as of current SY for back subjects.

Action Taken: IRREGULAR For Grade – With incomplete subjects. This category implies that the learner is promoted to the next level but with deficiencies in one or more subject areas. NO General Average will be reflected. Action Taken: IRREGULAR For 3 rd and 4 th Year – With incomplete subjects equivalent to of less that 3 units. This category implies that the learner have to go under summer classes to complete the requirement for the subject areas. Not Applicable for Elementary

Action Taken: RETAINED For Grades 1 and 2 and – Learner was not able to complete even one subject area. Action Taken: RETAINED For Grade 3-6 and 3 rd and 4 th Year – Existing policy on promotion and retention will be applied. ( DO No. 33, s ).
