Purposes of PaCT 1.To support teachers to make reliable and consistent judgments in relation to the National Standards 1.To show a student’s progress over time

Aspects for Writing 1.Writing meaningful text: encoding 2.Writing meaningful text: using knowledge of text features 3.Writing meaningful text: vocabulary knowledge 4.Using writing to clarify and develop ideas and information for learning 5.Creating texts to communicate knowledge and understanding 6.Creating texts for literary purposes 7.Creating texts to influence others
