men: The voice of God is upon many waters the God of glory thundering forth the voice of God full of Majesty and power

Women: Hallelujah Men: The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars of Lebanon Women: Hallelujah Men: The voice of the Lord flashes forth flames of fire

Women: Hallelujah Men: The voice of the Lord strips the oaks of the forests bare. Women: Hallelujah Men: And in His temple all cry “Glory.”

All: Hallelujah, Hallelujah!

FIRST READING Mi 5:1-4a Thus says the LORD: You, Bethlehem-Ephrathah too small to be among the clans of Judah, from you shall come forth for me one who is to be ruler in Israel; whose origin is from of old, from ancient times. Therefore the Lord will give them up, until the time when she who is to give birth has borne,

and the rest of his kindred shall return to the children of Israel. He shall stand firm and shepherd his flock by the strength of the LORD, in the majestic name of the LORD, his God; and they shall remain, for now his greatness shall reach to the ends of the earth; he shall be peace.

PSALM Ps 80:2-3, 15-16, R. Lord, make us turn to you; let us see your face and we shall be saved.

O shepherd of Israel, hearken, from your throne upon the cherubim, shine forth. Rouse your power, and come to save us. R. Lord, make us turn to you; let us see your face and we shall be saved.

Once again, O LORD of hosts, look down from heaven, and see; take care of this vine, and protect what your right hand has planted the son of man whom you yourself made strong. R. Lord, make us turn to you; let us see your face and we shall be saved.

May your help be with the man of your right hand, with the son of man whom you yourself made strong. Then we will no more withdraw from you; give us new life, and we will call upon your name. R. Lord, make us turn to you; let us see your face and we shall be saved.

SECOND READING Heb 10:5-10 Brothers and sisters: When Christ came into the world, he said: “Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me; in holocausts and sin offerings you took no delight. Then I said, ‘As is written of me in the scroll, behold, I come to do your will, O God.’”

First he says, “Sacrifices and offerings, holocausts and sin offerings, you neither desired nor delighted in.” These are offered according to the law. Then he says: Behold, I come to do your will.” He takes away the first to establish the second.

By this “will,” we have been consecrated through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

GOSPEL Lk 1:39-45 Mary set out and traveled to the hill country in haste to a town of Judah, where she entered the house of Zechariah and greeted Elizabeth. When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the infant leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth, filled with the Holy Spirit, cried out in a loud voice and said, “Blessed are you among women,

and blessed is the fruit of your womb. And how does this happen to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? For at the moment the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the infant in my womb leaped for joy. Blessed are you who believed that what was spoken to you by the Lord would be fulfilled.”

PROFESSION OF FAITH We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God,

Begotten, not made, one in being with the Father. Through Him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven: (BOW HEAD) By the power of the Holy Spirit he was born of the Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered, died, and was buried.

On the third day He rose again in fulfillment of the Scriptures, he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son.

With the Father and the Son he is worshipped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.

HAIL MARY, GENTLE WOMAN Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you Blessed are you among women, and blest is the fruit of your womb Jesus

Holy Mary, Mother of God Pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of death Amen

Gentle woman, quiet light Morning star, so strong and bright Gentle woman, peaceful dove Teach us wisdom, teach us love

You were chosen by the Father You were chosen for the Son You were chosen from all women And for woman, shining one

Blessed are you among women Blest in turn all women too Blessed they with peaceful spirits Blessed they with gentle hearts

HERE IS OUR KING DAVID CROWDER Here is our King Here is our Love Here is our God who's come to bring us back to him He is the one, He is Jesus

He is our King He is our Love He is our God who's come to bring us back to him He is the one, He is Jesus

From wherever spring arrives to heal the ground From wherever searching comes the look itself A trace of what we're looking for So be quiet now, and wait

The ocean is growing The tide is coming in Here it is:

Here is our King Here is our Love Here is our God who's come to bring us back to him He is the one, He is Jesus

He is our King He is our Love He is our God who's come to bring us back to him He is the one, He is Jesus

And what was said to the rose to make it unfold Was said to me, here in my chest So be quiet now, and rest.

The ocean is growing The tide is coming in Here it is:

Here is our King Here is our Love Here is our God who's come to bring us back to him He is the one, He is Jesus

He is our King He is our Love He is our God who's come to bring us back to him He is the one, He is Jesus
