Sarajevo Sarajevo is the capital of Bosnia & Hercegovina. Sarajevo has about 502,000 inhabitants. And 4 municipalities. The municipality's area is 1900 km ². 80% of Sarajevo is Bosniaks/Muslims. 10% are Serbs, 8% Catholics (Croats) and 2% other.

Language In Bosnia & Herzegovina they speak Bosnian, Serbian and Croatian.

Bosnian food Bosnian food is closely related to Turkish and Greek food. Typical ingredients in the Bosnian cuisine are tomatoes, potatoes, onions, garlic, peppers, cucumbers, carrots, cabbage, mushrooms, spinach, zucchini, beans, plums, milk and pavlaka, a thick cream. Some local specialties are cevapcici, burek, dolma, sarma, pilaf, goulash and ajvar.
