WELL FUNDED OPPOSITION

CEF is a national, non profit corporation founded in 1959, headquartered in St Louis. Founders Martin and Mae Duggan We propose a restructuring of education financing in Missouri, allowing parents to choose where their children’s share of the public education fund is spent: at public, private, or church-affiliated schools. Citizens for Educational Freedom /

Talking Points School choice protect the freedom of families to choose the kind of education that meets the needs and talents of their own children. School choice promotes the benefits of competition and innovation, which have made our nation strong. School choice can reduce the costs of education to taxpayers while dramatically improving the quality of education. Citizens for Educational Freedom

Education Task Force The mission of the Education Task Force is to help promote excellence in our country’s educational system. The task force is helping to reach that level of excellence by advocating for strong accountability in public schools and advancing education reform policies, such as charter schools and vouchers that grant parents and students the means to choose the schools that best meet their educational needs. Public Sector Chair State Representative Jane Cunningham

Talking Points A teaching credential that is nationally recognized and portable from state to state Reduced barriers to entry, encouraging young professionals and career changers to become teachers A cost-effective route to earning a teaching credential based on subject area mastery and professional teaching knowledge as demonstrated by meeting rigorous testing standards

Show Me Institute is a research and educational institute dedicated to improving the quality of life for all citizens of Missouri by advancing sensible, well-researched solutions to state and local policy issues. Issues to address – TABOR, school choice

Improving Education The latest education research confirms what common sense has always told us: kids learn better when their parents have more choices. The Show- Me Institute studies how to empower parents by expanding educational options and providing parents with better information, so that every child can attend a school that meets his or her unique needs. Rex Singquefield, President

New generation of Religious Right leaders is turning conservative churches into political machines. Candidates are either godly or tools of Satan depending upon Patriot Pastors’ agenda – traditional Religious Right social issues, criminalize abortion, strip gay’s of their legal right, tax cuts, elimination of minimum wage, doing away with environmental and work safety regs on industry Christocrat Pastor Rod Parsley Russell Johnson Rick Scarborough

Missouri "Patriot Pastors" To Fight "Campaign of Lies and Deceptions" with Lies and Deceptions? The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that opponents of a Missouri stem-cell research ballot initiative are distributing misleading brochures that purport to enlist the support of women’s health advocates. Brochures mailed in recent weeks to more than 90,000 Missouri homes argue that research protected by the ballot measure would exploit women, luring them into the potentially dangerous practice of egg donation. … “I came to incite a riot! Man your battle stations! Ready your weapons! Lock and load!” Pastor Parsley

Patriot Pastors have injected a new dimension to politics in Ohio, Texas and Pennsylvania with their calls for “warfare” against the “hordes of hell” at the ballot box. Ohio’s Restoration Project will be exported to other states win or lose in November.

Our mission is to inform, encourage and mobilize pastors and their congregations to be proactive in restoring Judeo- Christian values to the moral and civic framework in their communities, states, and our nation. I will be spending the next 5 months looking for Patriot Pastors who will…stand up, speak up and refuse to give up..in Missouri. Rick Scarborough

“Our battles in Missouri over the human cloning issue is a fresh reminder of how the tax exemption known in the IRS code as a 501c3 status, is crippling the church and muting her historic prophetic role in America,” he writes, threatening that he is “ ready to burn our 501c3 if necessary to continue preaching righteousness and applying scripture to the great national debates of our time.” The former pastor writes, “You can help me in this battle by making the largest gift you can, and by doing it without regard to tax exemption. … You will not be able to deduct it, but I am convinced that God will bless you significantly for it.” Scarborough fundraising letter excerpts
