The Race of Faith 2 Timothy 4.7

Winners never quit and quitters never win. God desires for you to be a finisher, not a quitter.

When the Apostle Paul heard the gun fired, he never looked back. Apostle Paul used every set-back as a springboard to advance in the race.

The long distance runner and Christian life is a marathon, not a sprint. Philippians 3.12 The translation of ‘follow after’ or ‘press on’ means to ‘relentlessly pursue’.

James 1.3 “…the testing of your faith produces patience”. It is God’s plan to see you grow and mature. What does God want ‘in’ your life? Ephesians 4.13

Do I have to be perfect? Being a believer does not mean immunity from pain and suffering. What God is after in the life of every believer is that He wants you to finish strong. 2 Corinthians 4.8

God wants you to be a full-grown Christian. Tribulation will bring about patience. As you grow in patience, you will be growing in maturity.

God wants to bring you to the fullness of Christ. To receive all that God wants, you must endure and not quit. Romans 8.24
