The following management strategies are consistent with Interfor’s 2006 Sunshine Coast Forest Stewardship Plan (FSP) approved July 20 th, This block is located in the Cortez Landscape Unit, Forest Development Unit (FDU) #8. Strategies for objectives prescribed under FPPR. Applies to site (Y/N) Indicate how strategy applies to site WildlifeYHarvesting of this block will not affect the critical wildlife species and their habitats identified for this FDU, specifically: harvesting block RZ03A will not result in the harvest of suitable Marbled Murrelet habitat class 1, 2 or 3. Block RZ03A is a windthrow salvage block and due to high safety concerns the block has not been walked prior to harvest. It is unlikely that there is any Queen Charlotte Goshawk suitable habitat (active nests) within RZ03A; as a result of windthrow damage there are no standing stems remaining within the block. If any Queen Charlotte Goshawk activity is discovered during harvesting, operations must cease and Qualified Professional must be notified. Implementation – Site Plan
