Teacher’s Page How to use this PowerPoint presentation: Initially to be adult led to show child how to progress through each page and to read to child. Adult to allow the child to work out ‘how many’ by counting. Child can count either in head, by touching screen, saying numbers out loud. When children know how to use programme they can use independently or in chosen groups. Assessment: Note ease/difficulties children have navigating though presentation. Note children’s counting skills, eg: how do they count, do they use their fingers to touch each object as they count, do they touch an object and not count it, do they count faster than they can touch objects thereby reaching a higher number, is their counting accurate. Can children match how many they have counted to the written numeral on each page. Are they able to point to and then click on the correct numeral. Click here to go back to the beginning
