He made us rulers of the world under Him. “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.” Revelations 4:11 Click on each page to move on to the next.

People have rejected the ruler, God, by trying to live life their own way without Him But we fail to rule ourselves or society or the world. “There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who seeks God. All have turned away.” Romans 3:10-12

But man cannot rebel against God forever. What will God do about this rebellion? God’s punishment for rebellion is death and judgment “Man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment.” Hebrews 9:27. God’s justice sounds hard, but….

Because of His love, God sent His Son Jesus into the world Jesus always lived under God’s rule. He was sinless and perfect Yet, by dying in our place He took our punishment and brought forgiveness. “Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God.” 1 Peter 3:18

JESUS DIED ON THE CROSS But the third day after His death, He rose again! He returned to Heaven many days after. He appeared to His friends alive. Jesus has conquered death and is able to give us new life. He will return to judge the world one day. “In His great mercy, He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead”. 1 Peter 1:3

WELL, WHERE DOES THAT LEAVE US???

THERE ARE TWO WAYS TO LIVE… GOD’S WAY: Submit to Jesus as our Ruler Rely on Jesus’ death and resurrection Experience forgiveness from God and ETERNAL LIFE! OUR WAY Reject the Ruler, God, live your own way, and face condemnation, death and judgment. “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on him.” John 3:36.

WHAT MUST I DO? Pray to God. Ask for His forgiveness. Submit to the Lord Jesus as your Lord. Pray the prayer on the next slide.

MY PRAYER TO GOD Dear God, I come to you today, knowing that I have sinned against you, and ignored your way of living. I ask for your forgiveness. Thank you for sending your Son Jesus to die for me, that I may receive forgiveness and become your child. I believe that Jesus died for my sins and rose again. Thank you that because of Jesus, I can receive new life. Please cleanse me and come into my heart. I want you to be the Lord of my life. Amen.
