Progress towards Europeana in the UK Nick Poole, Chief Executive, Collections Trust

The UK cultural sector is committed to delivering ubiquitous public access to and engagement with cultural heritage via the Web

Access in itself is not sufficient – we have to demonstrate impact and work towards sustainability (economic, political and social)

Europeana/EDL is one of the primary motivations towards exposing digital assets from museums, archives and libraries in the UK
