In this exercise you will consider different hazards and the risks they pose. In your class there might be different ideas and you should be able to justify your ideas when challenged. There is not a ‘right’ answer, but plenty to think about.

Wear eye protection Clear away Bags etc. Use a pipette filler Fill the burette with a funnel Move the stand to fill the burette Clamp the burette securely Put the pipette in a safe place Tie back long hair Clean up spillages straight away Stand up when titrating Place the comments in order with the most important safety advice at the top.
