The Savior’s Invitation Matthew 11:28-30

Matthew 11: “Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 “For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

The Savior’s Invitation Who Is Jesus to Offer Such an Invitation? Declared to be the “Son Of God.” Matthew 3:17; cf. 2 Peter 1:17 He had gone out into the wilderness to be tempted and returned victoriously. Matthew 4. He was one that could deliver!

The Savior’s Invitation Who Is Included In This Invitation? Everyone that is weary, and conscious of being heavily laden, Christ said, “Come … I will give you rest.” “Whosoever” cf.
