How does Shakespeare create tragedy and comedy?

The Full Title is: The tragedy of Othello the moor of Venice. 4 main things. Othello Moor tragedy Venice.

Genre; Tragedy Written; Between 1601 and 1604, England Shakespeare clearly views the events of the play as tragic. View’s the marriage between Desdemona and Othello as noble and heroic. Late sixteenth century, during the wars between Venice and Turkey It is set in Venice in Act I; the island of Cyprus thereafter Protagonist Othello The Central character is Othello. Conflict: Iago gets jealous of Othello and Desdemona's relationship and he believes that he should be lieutenant not Othello. Contains foreshadowing (prediction) Jealously and rage is the inner demon that triumphs over Othello and Iago.

Described as a ‘domestic tragedy’. Third of his mature tragedies. Shakespeare’s supreme masterpiece in tragedies. Shakespeare wrote a series of tragedies, Othello being one of them. It’s the most exciting of his tragedies. It contain two of Shakespeare’s most original characters and powerful scene The story of Othello follows the Ancient Greek guidelines for a tragedy.
