Sunny Days Carriage Service Part One of Getting ready Sunny Days Carriage Service Part one: Getting ready for work

Sunny needs to be exercised to keep in shape so I ride when I can.

There are many steps involved in getting Sunny ready for a job. He needs to be groomed thoroughly. Every time he goes out to work he gets a shave and a full bath with shampoo so he is all clean and smells nicely.

Next he gets a bath…

Every inch of that 2000 pounds gets clean!

His hooves need a thorough cleaning and inspection every time he goes on the road. We don’t want any flat tires!

When Sunny is all clean and beginning to dry, my attention turns to the carriage. It needs to be cleaned and decorated for the event at hand. White flowers and greenery adorn the carriage for wedding or birthday. Pine garlands can be strung for Christmas rides.

We are almost ready!
