Semester 1 Exam Spanish 2 20% of your semester grade

Topics covered: Review vocabulary from Spanish 1 Review of present tense Daily routine (reflexive verbs) – Vocabulary – Forming reflexive verbs House and chore vocabulary Prepositions of place; describing rooms Informal commands – Affirmative and Negative DOPs/IDOPs Regular and irregular PRETERIT verbs

Format: 100 multiple choice, true-false, matching **Grademaster 60% Short answer questions 25% Speaking15% You can use both sides of one 3x5 notecard on the objective written part of the exam. NOTES ONLY – NO sentences!

More info: Speaking: 2 parts – You will prepare three questions to answer with follow-up questions to ask. You will only be asked to say ONE. – You will describe a room in a house, where the furniture is, etc. Writing: – You will prepare three short answer writing sections. – You will also fill in a verb chart with present and preterit verb forms. Both the speaking and short answer you will get ahead of time to prepare. The SPEAKING part you will complete in class on Friday and Monday.

Bring to the exam: Your notecard Pencils (at least 2) Something to do when you are done!! There will be NO talking while any person has a test. Books, magazines, study materials, etc. Ipods, MP3s are okay but must not be loud enough for others to hear and may not be shared.
