Plant McIntosh Steam Damage Notes verbatim from steam plant log book Bad lighting strike on unit. Mw’s dropped to 5 MW and picked back up to 163 MW Ga. Control called at 9:58, requesting more voltage on machine and all CT’s Called about down line across plant access road 9:20 CST Lost generator breaker (South) during storm. Try to put it back in Per Joe Griggs. CC Site was badly damaged by a tornado? All workers Zittrouer, Duke, Atkins are all OK! W.O. #677 written for south generator breaker lost it during storm W.O. #678 Written for CT-1 cooling water fan W.O. #679 Written for leaking roof over turbine room floor W.O. # 681 written for cooling fans on CT-8 Hold Tag put generator breaker (Per PCC) Summary of storm damage at Steam and Combustion Turbine Site: McIntosh steam and combustion turbine site had very little damage. The electrical feed to the administration building as well as the combustion turbine site is currently not in service. An electrician is being called to repair. The demineralizers for the combustion turbine site is currently not available. A water trailer is being called to support demineralizer water needs. Otherwise, the units are all available for full load.
