New Hymns and Songs from the Music Resource Group 4 Her child now hangs limply, his life blood is drying, her eyes are cast down now, her dreams a distant whim; the cradling, the caring, are what she remembers, the promise of childhood, is empty and has gone.

New Hymns and Songs from the Music Resource Group 5 She hung on his words of forgiveness, compassion, this man was her saviour the lover of her life; his voice now a murmur, he soon will be sleeping, but this is no sleeping, his life blood has all gone.

New Hymns and Songs from the Music Resource Group 6 And now through the darkness his body is taken, his mission is finished, and this seems like the end, but they will go with him in love to anoint him, not knowing in the future, for all their hope seems gone.
