Abraham’s Faith 1.Resurrection Faith

As it is written, “I have made you the father of many nations” – in the presence of the God in whom he believed, who gives life to the dead and calls into existence the things that do not exist. Romans 4:17 He did not weaken in faith when he considered his own body, which was as good as dead (since he was about a hundred years old), or when he considered the barrenness of Sarah’s womb. Romans 4:19 By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac…He considered that God was able even to raise him from the dead, from which, figuratively speaking, he did receive him back. Hebrews 11:17a, 19

Abraham’s Faith 1.Resurrection Faith 2.Reasoning Faith

He did not weaken in faith when he considered his own body, which was as good as dead (since he was about a hundred years old), or when he considered the barrenness of Sarah’s womb. No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised. Romans 4:19-21 By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac…He considered that God was able even to raise him from the dead, from which, figuratively speaking, he did receive him back. Hebrews 11:17a, 19

Abraham’s Faith 1.Resurrection Faith 2.Reasoning Faith 3.Remembering Faith

No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised. Romans 4:19-21 By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises was in the act of offering up his only son… Hebrews 11:17

Abraham’s Faith 1.Resurrection Faith 2.Reasoning Faith 3.Remembering Faith 4.Resounding Faith

But the words “it was counted to him” were not written for his sake alone, but for ours also. It will be counted to us who believe in him who raised from the dead Jesus our Lord, who was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification. Romans 4:23-25

Abraham’s Faith 1.Resurrection Faith - SALVATION 2.Reasoning Faith - SECURITY 3.Remembering Faith - STRENGTH 4.Resounding Faith – SPREAD OF GOSPEL
