Did you know… your generation of parents is fondly referred to by colleges across the nation as ….

… Helicopter Parents because of your hovering tendencies.”

Let your student resolve their own problems and situations. This will ultimately provide for a better learning experience. Dealing with a Problem

Finding a balance… Show genuine interest in your student’s life, but don’t smother. Stay in touch, but strive for a balance in the number of contacts you initiate.

Transition is Key… We want this to be a smooth transition for you and your student as they move on campus. Allow for a time of adjustment for you and your student. The first 2-3 weeks is most crucial in their establishing friends and becoming familiar with their new environment. Encourage them to get involved.

The Importance of Prayer There are Offices and People who are here to care for your students while at Liberty as well as care for you. The best way that we care for your students is that we pray for them This is also the best thing for you to do for your student while they are with us.

The Importance of Prayer Remember our goal: that EVERY student is prayed for.

Ministry of Prayer Colossians 1:9-11 “ 9 For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

Colossians 1: that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;

Colossians 1: 9-11 “ 11 strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy;

KNOW the WILL of GOD WALK will be Worthy (pleasing) before the Lord WORK will be productive (fruitful) for the Lord WISDOM will increase about God

will WITHSTAND TRIALS AND TEMPTATIONS WITNESS for the Lord will be Strong WORSHIP of the Lord will be Powerful

 Every day, every student is prayed for by name and by need and with a Scriptural prayer request.

Seven things to pray for your student… They will know the WILL of GOD WALK will be Worthy WORK will be productive WISDOM will increase about God they will WITHSTAND TRIALS and TEMPTATIONS WITNESS will be strong WORSHIP will be powerful
