IEEE Xplore Mobile Search IEEE Xplore on the go: 1.Get the top 10 search results 2.View abstracts 3. yourself the article

¿ Why search IEEE Xplore (when I can find everything in Google anyway) ? 4/26/ Search done on Google Scholar, Sep. 9th, 2011

Because Scientists have to be Cutting Edge ! The article that came on top in the Google search came 63rd in a ”Newest First“ sort of the same search performed on IEEE Xplore on the same day – i.e. 62 new works on a similar topic were published since it first came out Enough time for it to get cited by 14 others It takes time for any work to move up in Google’s popularity ranking 4/26/201511

Early Access articles are not easily available anywhere but on Xplore 4/26/201512

IEEE Xplore ® works very differently from Google/ Google Scholar 4/26/ Google –Ranks by popularity –No option to list chronologically –Crawls content every 2-4 weeks –NEVER up-to-date Xplore –Ranks by relevance –Gives option to list chronologically –Latest publications available as soon as peer-reviewed If you want to be cutting edge, IEEE Xplore ® is your place to be !
