6 Bexar County WCID #10 - Major Issues Facing District -- Water Rights and Aging Wastewater Infrastructure --- Both Expensive - Water Rights is Toughest Problem-Keeping Tanks Full -- Currently Own 1625 Acre Feet (AF) of Rights -- Annual Consumption in AF Range -- However, We Face a 40% Reduction in Extreme Drought is Reduced to Not Enough to Meet Demand -- To Be Completely Safe, We Need to Buy 200+ AF at a Cost of $400, Is a Very High Price to Prepare for Infrequent Event -- Problem Complicated by EAA & Legislature --- Board of Directors Evaluating Problem 5
