Submission Defined Submission (hupotasso) is voluntarily and sacrificially putting yourself in your proper place under a person with a rightful position of authority over you for the sake of harmoniously accomplishing the Lord’s work.

Submission DOES NOT necessarily mean that the person doing the submitting is an inferior person in any way.
