Ukraine has been under the Soviet communism not having any freedom for decades Often church-buildings have been confiscated and converted into store houses by the communists Until the late 1980‘s countless Christians have been inprisoned Freedom only returned after the collaps of communism in 1991
Right now there is a widespread ministry to children with over 100 Good News Clubs ®, camp ministry, literature distribution, Bible Correspondence Courses, teacher training etc. Many boys and girls came to know Christ. Let us take a look at some ministry areas. The ministry of CEF ® in Transcarpathia, Western Ukraine has been started 1992 mainly with Hungarian minorities.

From the history of Bereg Camp The need for a Bible camp became obvious as the number of children in Good News Clubs has grown On the site of a Christian family the first camps were organized in the year children attended the two week-long camps under very simple circumstances
This family has offered the site for the camp ministry
The first years in Bereg Camp
2006 we have prepared a three-step-plan for develop Bereg Camp: Step 1 has been accomplished with the dorms for the children and has been used since 2008 Step 2 is right now in preparation Step 3 speaks about the future and covers the plan to build a meeting hall, group-rooms, kitchen, a gym and swimming-pool for indoor-activities.
