What is an MSDS sheet?.
Presentation transcript:

Material Safety Data Sheets They are sheets that contain data for hazardous materials. This can be a materials toxicity, health effects, first aid, reactivity, storage, disposal, protective equipment, and spill-handling procedures.

In team 378, these sheets are neatly organized in a binder and then the binder is readily accessible to all tem members daily. In the workplace, they are also required to be accessible by all employees. In the US, OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) requires MSDS sheets to be available to all employees. These sheets should be for all potentially harmful substances that are handled in the workplace.

MSDS sheets must be used for chemicals, chemical compounds, and chemical mixtures.
