Career Portfolio should contain the following Transcripts Letter of recommendations Samples of your best work Reference letters Certificate of achievements Newspaper articles featuring your community service Documents showing how you manage time, how you balance life roles, and how you make decision

A pay check is not valuable for a portfolio Career Portfolio helps you plan your education, career and life is a professional collection of accomplishments it provides evidence of each of the following, accomplishments, skills, and movement toward self improvement can help you get to know yourself better don’t handwrite your labels, it could take away from the professional appearance of your portfolio A pay check is not valuable for a portfolio

Career Portfolio can help you make decisions about your career and education Career portfolios are not random collections of accomplishments, your goals should guide you in selecting documents are worthwhile investment of time because it documents a individuals life, education and career can help someone reflect on interests, achievements and goals no ones portfolio will be the same

Career portfolios as a student a portfolio is used mostly to learn about yourself attributes are the most difficult to demonstrate with documents during an interview a portfolio will help you present believable, accurate description of yourself If you aspire to work in the medical field, include a copy of your first aid and CPR card should be placed in your portfolio.

Career Portfolio If you aspire to work with children you should include a letter from a elementary principal thanking you for tutoring Your report card with declining grades will not display a attribute of responsibility Your official transcript will display an attribute of punctuality

Electronic Career Portfolio An Disadvantage is that it may be viewed as a random collection of documents by potential employers An Advantage is that you can email it.
