TRADITIONAL CLOTHES FOR WOMEN They are composed by a shirt that can have different colours, a long skirt, an apron and a scarf which is usually tied around the head.

TRADITIONAL CLOTHES FOR MEN They are composed by a long smock, blue trousers, a white shirt, a black beret, long thick white socks and traditional espadrilles tied with long cords around the socks.

TRADITIONAL DAILY CLOTHING Traditional everyday clothing for women could vary a little but mantained a rather uniform appearance.

CLOTHES FOR SPECIAL DAYS On special days women wore more colourful clothes or even criss-crossed waistcoats.

CLOTHES FOR SPECIAL DAYS Men also wore waistcoats, a band as a belt and white or black espadrilles.

Sea men generally wore blue which has become the most popular colour.
