Spartan boys or men spent most of their lives in the army The Spartans had the best arme in Greece. IT WAS HARD!

Porridge was their typical meal They slept on boards! BOARD PORRIDGE

At the age of 60: The Spartan soldiers were admitted to the Assembly. They helped to rule the state 10 percent are ladies, kids, farmers Spartan armies were lead by two kings

Boys were sent to the army at the age of 6 or 7!!! They lived training.

THEY WERE TAUGHT *Survival skills, *A little bit of reading and writing. They were allowed to steal but if they were caught they were punished and beaten. This training period was very hard and brutal!

Age: What if he was strong?If he was weak? 7 The boys had to learn to be brave, keep fit and follow orders. If he was caught, he was whipped and the kids made fun of him. 12 Slept on the floor Spied the slaves and kill the ones who were strong If he failed at a task, he was punished. He was afraid of getting thrown out of his group. 20Went to army lived and slept there. People made fun of them and they wished to die 30 Could get married but still Stayed in the army. They could vote. If they were not brave in battle they shaved their head on one side and grew a beard on the other side.

If you were weak when you were born : If you were healthy and strong When you were born: You were left in mountain to die You would go with your mother And father but will be taken at Age of 7 years old to do the Military tranning !!!!!!!!!!

Girls also went to school Learnt : Wrestling, gymnastics, combats skill, reading and writing

For women marriage wasn´t a ceremony Their parents had to decide with who she had to marry!!!!!!!! At night the husband had to shave her hair. And made fun of her!!!!!!

Kings in Sparta lived a different way than Kings now a days.

THEY CALLED THEMSELVES… REPLICED THE KING MEANS: (THE BEST MAN)

There were no Kings Democracy Solon invented democracy

People came together to vote They choose a man to govern
