Receiving Receiving report Documents the activities in the receiving process Packing slip Produced by the supplier and provides information such as a description of the goods and quantity and refers to the customer purchase order number and possibly a tracking number It can be used to confirm that the actual quantity shipped matches the quantity ordered Bill of lading The contract between the shipper and carrier Contains information about the quantity shipped, origin and final destination
