Who Is This Child?

“What child is this, who laid to rest, on Mary’s lap is sleeping?”

Radiance of the glory of God

The Word became flesh and took up residence among us. We observed His glory, the

glory as the One and Only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14)

Exalted Lord sitting in Heaven

He is seated in a place of honor.

He is seated in a place of authority.

He is seated because all His work on earth is done.

He is seated and intercedes for us.

That’s who this baby is in Mary’s lap that we sing about at Christmas!
