Brief Note During floods of 2010, the river Ghaggar changed its course towards existing embankment at different locations and ultimately affected the abadi and land of village namely Kasour, Urlana and Kharka from river Ghaggar. To safe guard these villages abadies from further flood, the protection measures in the shape of stone stud are required on river Ghaggar Bund. Salient Features Cost of Scheme=Rs Lacs Land Component=NIL Work Component=Rs Lacs Nature of Work=Construction of Stone Stud. Stone Stud=2 Nos. Scheme for replacement of pipe bridge at RD and RD of Mago Majri Link Drain & RD Pundri drain no. 1 in slab type bridge (Kaithal Constituency). Brief Note A katcha path which has been left in consolidation crosses the mago majri link drain at RD and The katcha path leads to village Mago Majri to its fields and the katcha path leads to village mago majri to its grave yards respectively. The scheme has been prepared for V.R. Bridge at RD and construction of culvert at RD to redress the grievances of villagers of village Mago-Majri. There is no other bridge exist on Mago-Majri drain. As there is no other alternate to cross the drain in rainy season for the villagers of village Mago Majri to approach their fields. A matelled road leading from Nighdu to village pastana, a RCC pipe bridge exist at RD on Pundri drain no. 1. The said bridge creates obstruction in free flow of flood water and to avoid the obstructions in free flow of flood water it is essential to replace RCC Pipe into slab type bridge. Salient Features Cost of Scheme=Rs Lacs Land Component=NIL Work Component=Rs Lacs Nature of Work=Construction of V.R. Bridge Benefits=Abadi and agriculture land of villages Mago Majri, pati Khot, Pastana and Nighdu will be protected. Scheme No.4

Flood agenda scheme for requirement of 6 Nos. Vertical Electric Pumps of 5 Cs., 1 No. Bolero Pickup & 1 No. Trolly for dewatering of flood water (Kaithal, Kalayat, Guhla-Cheeka & Pundri Constituency). Brief Note 5 Nos. pump houses were constructed after the flood 2010 and also civil construction work has been completed but machinery was not provided. To safe guard the abadi/field from the heavy flood, vertical pumps are essential. At present this office has only 1 No. Matador and 1 No. Track which is insufficient during flood season. Hence 1 No. Bolero Pickup and 1 No. Trolly is required. Salient Features Cost of Scheme=Rs Lacs Benefits=All flood effected villages in District Kaithal. Scheme No.5

Flood agenda for procurement of 10 Nos., 25 HP & 2 Nos. of 40 HP vertical motor for dewatering of flood water (Kaithal, Kalayat, Guhla-Cheeka & Pundri Constituency). Brief Note 10 Nos. Vertical Motor of 25 HP & 2 Nos. Vertical Motor of 40 HP are also requires as present Vertical Motor are condemned and some are of low capacity. Salient Features Cost of Scheme=Rs Lacs Benefits=All flood effected villages in District Kaithal. Scheme No.6

FLOOD AGENDA NOTE FOR CONSTG. AMBERSER LINK DRAIN NO.II FROM RD OUTFALL INTO AMBERSER DRAIN AT RD L WHICH OUTFALLS AT RD L BML BARWALA LINK (Narwana Constituency). Brief Note During rainy season the rain water of fields accumulates in the fields situated along village Amberser and damages the crops. To drain out the rain water it has been proposed that a drain is to be constructed through existing deep borrow-pits along pucca road and village Phirni of village Amberser to protect the crops and adjoining abadi of village Amberser. In this scheme there is no necessity for acquiring the land. Salient Features Cost of Scheme=Rs Lacs Land Component=NIL Work Component=Rs Lacs Nature of Work=Construction of drains and bridges. Bridges=3 Nos. Benefits=Abadi and agriculture land of villages Amberser. Scheme No.7
