We saw what drove Jesus to do what He did for us

Well, We Know What Drove Jesus, But What Drove His Enemies?

Exactly the opposite things drove His enemies!

Remember… These were the “religious” leaders!

It was all about them and not about Him!

Listen to what Jesus said about them in Matthew 23

PRIDE WILL MESS YOU UP!

They definitely didn’t have courage!

His enemies feared losing their control!

It was not their strength that allowed them to have Jesus set-up and killed…

IT WAS THEIR WEEKNESS!

They couldn’t effectively argue with what Jesus said, so they had to shut Him up!

THEY FEARED HUMILIATION
