AND 2008 90% 2009 80% of the top ten can be diagnosed with a Smoke Machine Shed some light on other codes that could be found with smoke technology. EVAP smoke machines can help with many of the top codes Ask what kind of thing can cause a “P0171” code? When they say Vacuum leak, you ask this question: Can anyone here see a vacuum leak? How long would it take to do a intake/vacuum smoke test? How about P0300 or P0401 ? THINK ABOUT IT

Smoke Pro’s Shortcomings: Redline Smoke Pro Smoke Pro’s Shortcomings: Burns Baby Oil to create smoke. Uses nichrome wire as heat source. Burnt (carbonized) oil wick will reduce smoke output eventually. Burnt mineral oil will harm sensitive vehicle sensors & charcoal canister. No graduated flow meter No UV Light traceability No air/water filter No auto-shutoff for air flow Overall: Dangerous to use in testing EVAP Systems

Redline Smoke Pro was: NO safety shut-off valve NO UVdye NO Flow meter that can measure a 0.010” leak No air/water filter
