This presentation gives a brief description of Oxford Scholarly Editions Online It tells you what Oxford Scholarly Editions Online is how it can help you how to look for information in it The presentation will take about 4 minutes

Oxford Scholarly Editions Online (OSEO) contains 459 editions of material written between 1485 and The editions contain original works deemed by scholars to be the authoritative versions. They include introductory essays, placing the work and the author in a historical context, and the works include editorial and textual notes for academic study.

Subjects covered include English Literature, Philosophy, History and Religion. Examples of works covered include the plays of William Shakespeare, the letters of Thomas Hobbes, or Samuel Pepys, and the text of sermons by John Donne.

You can browse by Author, Work, or Edition. An example of an author could be Shakespeare; an example of a work could be Henry V; and an example of an edition could be The Oxford Shakespeare: Henry V, edited by Gary Taylor

Searching across all the scholarly editions is straightforward. Type the search terms into the box and click on the icon. Tennis balls
