For Demonstration Follow this Link The Big Dipper is the easiest constellations to find because it has the brightest stars.

This will help you to navigate though the stars. With this print out from the web page. Hold this end towards North, over your head. Here is the Big Dipper. This is a scale to show the brightest stars.

Some North Star Facts: Fact: It isn’t the brightest star. The big dipper stars are a lot brighter. Fact: The little dipper is almost impossible to see. So you are looking for a star that seems to be all by itself. Fact: The north star or Polaris doesn’t seem to move during the night.
