How the Moon Regained Her Shape Adapted from the book: How the Moon Regained Her Shape By: Janet Heller Powerpoint created by: By: Giovann 2012

There once was a Moon who danced on her sky path.

One day Moon danced right into the sun.

The sun said, “Nobody the needs Moon.”

A comet saw that his best friend Moon was sad.

The comet pointed Moon the way to Round Arms. (A women who lives at the foot of a mountain.)

Round Arms made Moon feel refreshed and healthy.

Round Arms took Moon to Painted Deer. Painted Deer said, “We need Moon in the sky.”

Round Arms took Moon to a rabbit hole. The rabbits need the moon to get food safely.

Round Arms took the Moon to a dance with a hundred women. Moon danced with the women.

When the women were done dancing they gave Moon a necklace and two bells so she would not forget them.

The Moon was back on her sky path dancing like she was in the beginning.
