Components of Community Grade 3 What makes a successful community?

The GOVERNMENT makes the rules and laws.

Without ECONOMICS no one would have any money to spend!

Without SERVICES there wouldn’t be a hospital or any grocery stores.

Without COMMUNICATION we wouldn’t have any newspapers or the Internet.

Life without RECREATION might be a little boring. There would be no sports or games to play.

We are community, All the villages in Grade Three. We are Community, And one big nation are we. Repeat Chorus

Everyone can see that we're together, As we walk on by, Government, Services, Recreation, We see eye to eye!

Communication and our Economy, As we work and play, Components make up our villages. Working together is our way!

We are community, All the villages in Grade Three. We are Community, And one big nation are we. Repeat Chorus

Newspapers and stores for villages Our Games, our dances, And all our songs, Our Village Names, Our flags flying, We know we belong!

We have rules and earn money, To spend in town. We work all day long, Mailboxes, laws, and a magazine, Working together, Will make us strong!

We are community, All the villages in Grade Three. We are Community, And one big nation are we. Repeat Chorus
