Question tags It isn’t very good, is it? They are all pretty poor, aren’t they? You had a French test last week, didn’t you? You didn’t revise, did you? You clearly weren’t spending time on your homework, were you? Everybody’s got until next week for that, haven’t they? Luke doesn’t look very happy, does he? You can do that, can’t you? You’ve done some of it, haven’t you?

Question tags can be used to check whether something is true, or to ask for agreement. He likes his job, doesn’t he = I assume he likes the job; am I right
