Three (3) lessons to be drawn here: The “hand” can truly be quicker than the eye. Our eyes can move past things, faster than our brains will interpret the information. We tend to… “See what we WANT to see”, at times overlooking the obvious.

We live in a FAST PACE society!! Conclusion – We need to SLOW DOWN and concentrate on what is happening around us.

Holy Bible Coloring Book

I KNOW you all like stories from the Bible, like: - Daniel in the Lion’s Den - Noah and the Ark - Jesus walking on the Water Most of us enjoyed coloring in our favorite “coloring book”. Well, I’m going to show you MY favorite coloring book and I’ll tell you why it’s so special to me. One of MY favorite stories is to read about when the world was created.

(Genesis 1:1-5) “ In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon he face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light; and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good; and god divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

Making a Cake

Elijah and the widow woman Elijah was fleeing from King Ahab and Queen Jezebel… God pressed upon him to go to Zarephath and to inquire of a widow woman there. You know the story. He came upon the widow as she was gathering sticks. He ask her for a drink of water and then for some food. She replied that she had only enough for a one small cake that she was going to bake for herself and her son and then she was going to die --- as there was NO MORE food. Elijah instructed her to make a cake for him FIRST. She obeyed and was blessed by God for her faithfulness.

(I Kings 17:16) “And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake by Elijah.”

Disappearing Water

Jesus and the Samaritan Woman Jesus met the Samaritan woman at Jacob’s well and he asked her for a drink of water… She questioned why He, being a Jew, would speak with a Samaritan. Jesus replied: “If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of Him, and He would have given thee living water.” “Whosoever drinkest of this water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.” She relied: “Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.” God, give us THIS DAY the living water!!!

Paper Torn to Shreds

(Luke 4:18,19) “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent me to heal the broken-hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.” Don’t lose hope. God is our protector and our defender!

Disappearing Scarf

The Great Commission Jesus stood on Mount Olivet and gave the Great Commission where he left instructions for His disciples to follow. He said…

“Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth, and is baptized shall be saved, but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.

“And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.”

Re-Appearing Scarf

(Acts 1:10,11) “And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel: Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as he have seen him go into heaven.”

Jesus IS coming back one day, in the twinkling of an eye! …for those who are LOOKING for his appearing!

(Romans 10:9) teaches us: “That if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved!”

EVERYONE, please bow your head and repeat this prayer with me. “Dear God. I believe that Jesus Christ is your SON. I believe He was crucified for my sins, and on the third day, you raised Him up from the dead. I ask you now to forgive me of my sins and come into my heart to live forever in Jesus’ name, Amen.”
