This is the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is in the mountains of North Carolina. people like to drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway during the fall to see the mountains and the leaves change color. NC has Important Places.

This is the Biltmore house. It is also in the mountains of North Carolina. It is America’s biggest house and was built in 1895, a long time ago. NC has Important Places.

This is the state capitol. It is in the city of Raleigh. The governor works in the capitol. People make rules for North Carolina in the capitol. NC has Important Places.

The Wright Brothers flew the first airplane in Kill Devil Hills, near the beach. Many people ride airplanes today. Now there is a national memorial and museum in honor of the Wright Brothers. NC has Important Places.

This is the Cape Hatteras lighthouse. It is the tallest brick lighthouse on our continent. Lighthouses were used to guide boats to the seashore. NC has Important Places.
